Shopify experts for USA brands

The US is the largest Shopify market in the world, and that makes it the most crowded. American shoppers compare prices across several tabs, expect free shipping over a threshold, and leave a slow product page within seconds. A store that wins here needs fast pages, a checkout with the wallets people already use, and clear delivery promises, along with marketing that can hold its own against well-funded competitors.

BOOST STAR Experts is a Shopify Partner agency working remotely from India with brands across the United States. We design and build Shopify and Shopify Plus stores, migrate from WooCommerce, Magento and BigCommerce, and run SEO, CRO, Google Ads, Meta ads and email marketing. You get one team for the store and the growth work, with calls scheduled in your business hours.

Selling online in the USA: what your store needs

Payments shoppers expect

Credit cards still dominate, but a large share of US mobile checkouts now go through Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. Buy now, pay later options such as Afterpay, Klarna and Affirm lift conversion on higher-value baskets. We set up Shopify Payments, wallets and instalment providers so each one shows where it helps, without cluttering checkout.

Sales tax and privacy rules

Since the 2018 Wayfair ruling, states can require remote sellers to collect sales tax once they pass an economic nexus threshold, and each state sets its own rules. We configure Shopify Tax and product tax codes, and set up consent and privacy pages for laws such as California’s CCPA/CPRA and the other state privacy acts that followed.

Shipping speed and returns

Amazon has trained American shoppers to expect fast, cheap delivery and easy returns. That means clear shipping thresholds, accurate delivery dates on product pages and a simple returns flow. We connect USPS, UPS and FedEx rates or a third-party logistics partner, and build delivery estimates and return portals into the store.

Reviews, accessibility and competition

US shoppers read reviews before almost every purchase, and the FTC now bans fake and incentivised reviews that are not disclosed. Website accessibility claims under the ADA are also common in eCommerce. We build stores with genuine review collection, accessible themes and structured data, so you can compete with marketplaces on trust as well as price.

Frequently asked questions

How does a team in India handle US time zones?

We overlap with your morning. Calls usually happen between 8am and 11am Eastern, which is evening in India, and the build work runs overnight on your clock. You get written updates, recorded walkthroughs and a staging store to review, so progress keeps moving even when we are not on a call together.

Can you set up sales tax for multiple US states?

Yes. We configure Shopify Tax, add the right product tax codes and register the states where you already collect. We can show you where your sales are approaching economic nexus thresholds, but registration decisions and filings should be confirmed with your accountant or a sales tax service.

Do you work with US brands selling on Amazon as well as Shopify?

Yes. Many US brands sell on both. We keep the Shopify store as the home for your brand and customer data, connect Amazon through Shopify apps where it makes sense, and use Buy with Prime or multi-channel fulfilment if you already store stock with Amazon.

Can our Shopify store sell in Spanish for US Hispanic shoppers?

Yes. Shopify Markets and the Translate & Adapt app let you add a Spanish version of the store with its own URLs, so it can rank in search. We translate navigation, product content and checkout text, and set up hreflang tags so Google shows the right language to each shopper.

What does working remotely with BOOST STAR look like day to day?

You get a named project lead, a shared project board and a weekly call at a time that suits you. Feedback goes into the board or a shared document, and we reply within one working day. Typical store builds take 4 to 10 weeks depending on scope.
